Awards

The conference organizers are proud to announce that there will be a total of 52 travel awards granted to young scientists.

In order to apply for such travel grants, please submit your abstract before the closing deadline March 15.
During the abstract submission, you will be able to select "Poster Only" or "Poster or Oral Presentation".
Both types of presentation may be eligible for travel awards.

Under the information for the Presenting Author, you will be able to select if you are an Early Career Scientist (within 5 years of highest academic degree; B.S., M.S., or PhD) or a Student/PhD student.
Both categories of young scientists may be eligible for travel awards.

We specifically encourage underrepresented scientists to apply, including female students, scientists from racial or ethnic underrepresented minorities, and scientists with disabilities.
For people with disabilities, please alert the conference organizers if we can be of any help in your participation in the conference, including professional help by UC Davis as needed.

All travel awardees have been notified.
We have received almost 400 submissions from Early Career Scientists and PhD students, and we look forward to a fantastic and diverse conference!
